When Michael Primus and his family lost their home in an electrical fire, they also lost all their personal belongings…everything they had worked so hard to acquire. The children were devastated when they lost all their toys, and son Malachi even lost his prized position – his trumpet. Michael Primus said, “We were so surprised when the Red Cross showed up. They gave us food, clothing, a place to stay, and even helped to refill our prescriptions that were lost in the fire. It meant so much to us to have them there standing alongside us lending their help.”
Today, the Primus family is an advocate for United Way and the Red Cross, because their help mattered when it was really needed. Your contributions to United Way help to ensure that vital services such as this are available when they’re needed.
