Mark Your Calendar to Help United Way 'Stuff the Bus'!
United Way's 2nd Annual Stuff the School Bus School Supply Drive will be held on Saturday, July 31, at local Walmart Supercenters (Bobby Jones Expy., Burke County, Deans Bridge Road, Evans, and Grovetown.) The Stuff the School Bus program collects and distributes school supplies such as backpacks, calculators, and notebooks to local communities so students with the greatest needs can start the school year ready for success.
Donors may purchase the supplies at Walmart the day of the event, bring materials to drop-off at the location sites, or make a cash donation which will be used to purchase supplies.
Last year, United Way hosted the 1st Annual Stuff the Bus event which was a great success! Over 1,100 local children received assistance and more than $2,500 was donated to purchase additional school supplies.
