United Way is wrapping up our 2009 fundraising campaign, and we need your support.  With only $150,000 left in reaching the $4.4 million goal, our hope is that the community will rally together to help.  Please consider giving; large or small, every contribution will help.  Without your support, vital health and human service programs couldl be impacted in our local community. 

When giving to United Way, your contributions help to ensure that:
- A mother and her children have a safe place to sleep after fleeing abuse.
- A senior citizen receives weekly visits from a Senior Companion to provide much-needed support.
- A disabled girl overcomes her fear of water and learns to swim.
- A 7-year-old receives speech therapy, enabling him or her to communicate more effectively.
- A former drug addict receives job-skills training to secure long-term employment.
