The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the annual fundraising drive conducted by Federal employees in their workplace each fall. Each year Federal employees and military personnel raise millions of dollars through the CFC that benefit thousands of non-profit charities.

The 2007 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) of the CSRA raised over $720,000 to improve life here and around the world.  The CFC Board extends a sincere thank you to everyone who participated.  The VA Medical Center and Department of Energy both experienced record-breaking years in 2007.  Not only are the funds they raise among the highest in the area, but they also continue to lead other local federal agencies in employee participation.  With employee participation rates above 40%, these agencies prove that no gift is too small when combined with the gifts of other employees committed to making a difference.  

The Board of Directors for the CFC is planning a fantastic 2008 Campaign. This year, CFC will be developing a website complete with on-line giving to better serve our generous donors. This should be launched late summer in plenty of time for the September 4 campaign kickoff.  Joining the CFC this year is Transportation Service Agency at Bush Field. 

Locally, the CFC runs campaigns in Richmond, Columbia, Burke, Lincoln, McDuffie, Barnwell, Allendale, Taliaferro, Warren, Glascock, Jefferson, McCormick, Aiken and Edgefield Counties, including Fort Gordon Army Base and U.S. Department of Energy - SRS.

Principal Combined Fund Organization (PCFO)

• The PCFO is selected to be the fiscal agent for the CFC. The United Way of the CSRA, Inc. is proud to be the CSRA's Combined Federal Campaign's PCFO. This role has strict requirements set upon it by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and is monitored by annual audits performed by an independent accounting firm.

Local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC)

• The LFCC is a committee composed of local federal employees, usually one from each federal installation in the area. Our local CFC coordinator is Julie Kennedy.
