Many individuals and families in the CSRA lack adequate food, shelter, medical care, and emergency assistance. A strong, safe community cares for those in need of life's basic necessities and those in crisis situations.

American Red Cross of Augusta

Provides disaster relief, community disaster education; emergency assistance for military families; health/HIV/AIDS education; CPR, first aid, lifeguard training; youth leadership training and volunteer opportunities.

Provides shelter and services for victims of domestic violence and their dependent children, as well as, educational programs for professionals and the community at-large.

Rape Crisis & Sexual Assault Services

Provides sexual assault victims with crisis service, counseling, consultation and 24-hour hot line. Provides legal advocacy, community education and outreach to surrounding rural counties.

The Salvation Army
