United Way is seeking new members for the Citizen Review Panels for 2018.

2018 Citizens Review Panels

United Way Citizens Review panels are composed entirely of community volunteers and are responsible for visiting United Way’s partner agencies annually to review the funded programs and services as well as make funding recommendations bi-yearly. These panels are vital in maintaining United Way agency credibility and accountability to the
community and ensuring that community outcomes are being effectively evaluated.

The time commitment is as follows:

  • Late fall/early winter: 1 hour of training at United Way.
  • Late winter/early spring: 2 half days of program site visits
  • Review of information: 1-2 hours (on your own).
  • Other visits and meetings as needed.

Panel members serve a three year term, with an option for an additional
term and/or rotation to another panel.

There are seven separate panels from which to choose, and all are in need of new members. These panels represent a diverse group of community volunteers with a commitment to United Way and the entire CSRA.
