See how it works. Trained volunteers protect donor investment.
United Way of the CSRA Citizens Review panels are composed entirely of community volunteers and are responsible for visiting United Way's partner agencies annually to review the funded programs and services as well as make funding recommendations bi-yearly in our Community Investment Process. These panels are vital in maintaining United Way agency credibility and accountability to the community while ensuring the community outcomes are being effectively evaluated.

History
Alexis de Tocqueville expressed a great admiration of the American tradition of “neighbor helping neighbor.” He wanted a nation to come together for the common purpose during times of need. In 1831, he came to America and quickly recognized, applauded, and immortalized the voluntary spirit that lives in American's heart.
Taking its name from this French historian and aristocrat, this society was founded in 1996 and recognizes local philanthropists who make an annual contribution of $10,000 or more to United Way of the CSRA.
We are now in our twenty-second year of acknowledging these investors that are committed to building a stronger community. We thank our members for making a significant personal investment and leading the way to a better community for us all.
