Knowing where to invest your resources whether it be your time, talent or dollars, is difficult in every area of our lives. The choices today are plentiful .... as are the risks.
As a member of the financial industry, I find myself being challenged with constant questions ... how aggressive should I be in my retirement planning? What organizations should I invest time or money in? Should I invest in real estate or stocks? For me, I usually take my questions to an expert, someone with the wisdom and expertise to help me get the best return.
When it comes to partnering and investing in our community, I find that I personally take the same approach. I want to ensure my time and resources are put to work for the greatest good ... and the best outcomes. This is the reason I partner and invest with United Way of the CSRA.

As one of the 2018 Campaign Co-Chairs, I can assure you that United Way of the CSRA knows the playing field and its players inside and out. They consistently assess our community's needs, the resources available, prevalent gaps in resources, and the ultimate capabilities of our citizens and partners. They prioritize the most pressing needs and match the resources with the right team player (program). They work across multiple county lines (15 to be exact) through various industries to help provide a hand up to those in need. Not only does United Way of the CSRA work with local partners in the education, financial, and health industries to ensure our community has the resources it needs ... they also embrace accountability. Once a program or initiative is supported by United Way of the CSRA, their team of volunteer community members are on-site making sure desired outcomes are being met. They mobilize their staff and partners to be on-site with our programs to help ensure their mission is ultimately carried out. They work extremely hard to make sure we, as a community, are all successful.
