Quick and Easy Ways to Stay Active During Quarantine



Keep your body and mind healthy by making small choices to stay active.


Staying active and keeping a healthy lifestyle right now doesn’t need to be difficult.


It all starts by shaking up your routine. Start small by changing one habit in your daily routine. It’s easier than you might think!


Here are a few simple indoor/outdoor ideas to give a try:


  • Climb stairs in your house, building or somewhere nearby

  • Ride your bike

  • Take a walk (bring your four-legged friends, too!)

  • Go for a jog or run

  • Find a free Yoga or Pilates class online (YouTube is great for this).

  • Watch TV standing up


*Remember to maintain social distancing procedures if you decide to engage in outdoor exercise during this time.


There are so many approaches to staying active and so many benefits for doing it. Find the right one for you and commit to doing it once a day for three weeks to build a healthy habit.


We understand that this is a difficult time, and your motivation may be lacking as a result of being stuck inside all day and cut off from in-person social interactions. Just know that we're all in this together. We can stay active and healthy as a community!
